Awesome Grand Prix!
So much happened not sure I can remember:

Kimi was given a 3 place penalty for blocking during qualifying, though it didn't make much difference the car looked undrivable throughout the race.

We started off with intermediate conditions.
Several cars including Mark Webber slid off the track on their way to the grid (pre race).
Once the race got under way, Alonso hit the rear of Vettel's car and after failing to stop for a new front wing ending up crashing out after the nose detached and lodged under the car.
Verne was released out of the pits in front of Pic and the two cars collided.

Later Ferrari released Massa unsafely but unsurprisingly this was not investigated FIA (Ferrari International Assistance me thinks).
Hamilton comically parked in the McLaren pit box and lost around 5-6 seconds.
Jenson's front right wheel was not secured at the pit stop and this caused him to have to stop and be wheeled back by the mechanics putting him out of what looked like a secure 5th place.
Button ultimately retired.
Force India ended up retiring both cars due to what seemed to be a failure of the wheel nuts during pitstops.
The two main stories of the race however were Rosberg not being allowed to pass Hamilton despite being much faster during the fuel save phase and then of course Vettel ignoring team orders to stay behind Webber and winning the race.
Seb apologised to Mark after the race, but it was not accepted and Webber hinted that he may have to consider his future in F1.
Today John Watson commented that Vettel should get a one race ban for ignoring team orders.
I think this would be a good punishment, but as Mark said "Seb has the protection of the teams as ever" so no doubt nothing will happen to him.

PC Game Purchases

I just purchased 2 new PC games on offer at Gamefly:

Resident Evil 5 &
Civilization V (Game Of The Year)

I was a HUGE fun of Civilization Revolution of the Xbox 360 and have been wanting to try out the latest game in the series for a while.
On offer for just £5.75 I thought this was a good opportunity to try this out without breaking the bank.

Whilst I was purchasing Civilization I noticed Resident Evil 5 on offer for just £3.50 and figured I may as well pick it up.

Will post more info when I actually get chance to use the games.

Resident Evil 3DS

I downloaded the demo of Resident Evil Revelations from the Nintendo Eshop today and have to say I am really impressed.
The game plays really nicely and for the first time made me see the DS as a decent little gaming machine.
The 3D effect and the sound were both really nice too.
Controls seem good.
I will be buying this game soon along with Zelda OOT but not from the Nintendo store as they want £39.99 each!!!

Ebay Deliveries 23/03/2013

Two videos arrived in the post today. Yay!

Doctor Who: The Ark In Space (Tom Baker)
1989 Original Edited Release

Doctor Who: The Brain of Morbius (Tom Baker)
1984 Original Pre-Cert
Blue Label Release (Very Rare)

My Doctor Who VHS collection is nearly complete as far as I can tell, although it is difficult to be sure because a complete list is very hard to find.
I will start watching through them very soon as well as catching up with the current series.

Revolution

Saw a trailer for this on Sky and could wait to start watching.
Watched the first four episodes last night and think the show has lots of potential.
Weird seeing Billy Burke (Charlie from Twilight) in something else, but he rocks it.

Only the first 10 Episodes have been shown so far in the US but they are due to resume soon and there is already talk of Season 2.

Episodes I watched:

Episode 1: Pilot
Episode 2: Chained Heat
Episode 3: No Quarter
Episode 4: The Plague Dogs

Is it me or does Tim Guinee (Ben Matheson) look alot like Nathan Fillion from Firefly?
Looking forward to continuing with this show.

First Post

Hi,

I have no idea if anyone will ever read this blog, but this is more about me keeping a record of the things I do (mostly things I watch) when I'm not working.
It will be an incredibly geeky blog but I'm proud of my geekness!
